You may think "Ah, owning a cat is super easy, I'll let it go outside, it only costs out of the cat". NOO! You are absolutely wrong! Owning a cat takes a lot of responsibility, just like owning a child. There are lots of things you have to take into consideration, not just the cat. Getting a cat? This is the perfect thread to read before it. And also make sure you read all the information on cats in this forum.
Things to Think About - "Should I really get a cat?"
Many people want cats. Well listen mate, it's not as easy as dancing, or even clicking. It's like having a child. It's a responsibility you will have for 14, 15 years. There are so many things you should think about before you get a cat and a lot of things to take into consideration. Would a cat be right for you?
Do YOUR Research - Do your research on lots of different breeds if you want to pay that $500.00 for a pure breed. Different breeds are different, and some people have had to give up cats because the breed is just not right for them.
How much Money do you have? - Owning a cat could cost up to $1,000 when you first get it. There are so many supplies you need. And the food costs and you have to buy a new bag basically every week.
Are you at work all day? - Cats need a lot of attention. If you are at work all day, a cat wouldn't be sutible for you.
Have you had cats before? - If so, you should get a cat. If not, ask someone in your family about cats if they've had one. If no one you know hasn't ever had a cat before - do not get one.
